Abbey Medieval Friday Family Fun Day

Discover the best of the festival with a sensory-friendly Friday Family Fun day. Featuring all the crowd favourites, including the Moreton Bay Medieval Joust Championship, Birds of Prey, combat demonstrations, story telling, workshops, and live performers. A number of encampments will be open to the public with activities and presentations, whilst others will be demonstrating their set-up process, so you can watch the village come to life from afar. The kids can get hands on with the archery range or make their own shield in the Kids Kingdom. It’s perfect for families who want more engagement and kid-friendly activities without the sensory overstimulation, or for those wanting a ‘taste’ of the festival experience.
