Help us reduce the impacts of mental health on young people through art programs and partnerships. 

Colour Them Safe is a health promoting organisation located in Merri-Bek. We use art to improve the wellbeing of diverse young people experiencing mental health challenges.

In Australia, about three-quarters of common mental health problems emerge before the age of 25. Suicide is the leading cause of death for people aged 5-17 years old (Blackdog, 2023). Our colourful community is working to change this. With the help of young people with lived experience, their support people, and partner organisations - we create art experiences that improve social and emotional wellbeing.

We offer regular in-person studios; online programs; facilitation training; and individual art kits. To deepen our impact, we work with organisations and funders who are also committed to improving the lives of young people.

The work we do would not be possible without the support from community, donors and funders. Join us for an artful afternoon as we raise funds to continue reducing the impacts of mental health on young people. We have exciting plans for the coming year, this is your opportunity to be apart of it.

We will provide refreshments, have an art auction, a rad raffle and be selling sweet merchandise.
